# Property variation with temperature

 December 14, 2000, 08:45 Property variation with temperature #1 G.Balakrishnan Guest   Posts: n/a I am using density as a function of temperature. I am using 2D segregated solver. My Mach no. is 0.1 only. Does fluent 5.3 solve the following eqn for continuity in 2D steady state? dou(Ro*u)/dou(x) + dou(R0*v)/dou(y) =0 or does it solve only the following for the above mentioned case ? dou(u)/dou(x) + dou(v)/dou(y) =0 I would also like to know for the above mentioned case, with RSM , is Fluent5.3 using favre averaging or reynolds averaging only?. Any help will be useful. Thanks..
