Fluent near wall modelling

Hi there all CFD'ers,

I'm not very familiar with Fluent so I hope I can get some quick hints from you!

Is it possible to use different wall boundary treatments regarding the turbulence boundary conditions at walls in the same geometry, i.e. can I use both wall functions and two-layer (zonal) approach at the same time? Do I have to use Fluent 4.5.2 or can I use v5.4? I suspect that it may be feasible by using User Defined Functions, but as I have no experience regarding this I'd really like to know for sure.

And, in addition, I have read that the Reynold Stress Turbulence model can not be used together with the two layer treatment in Fluent 4.5.2. As it is available in v5.4 I wonder: is this really true?

Cheers
