Patching with Text Menu Commands
 
Does anybody know how to patch using text menu commands under Fluent 5.4.??

Under text menu solve/initialize there is no option for patching as there is in the GUI. Is it located somewhere else?, or is this feature only accessible from the GUI menus??

Any help much appreciated!

As far as I know patching is not available in the tui. I remarked this already one or two years ago to FLUENT. It really should be put on the list of "user wishes". Since if one is running a job in the background without the gui there is no chance to automize initializing when different zones (e.g. two fluids of different properties) are involved.
