Default Pressure Specification and Determination

I have been battling the same problem several different ways, and I'm starting to run out of answers. I am running a 3-D model of a 180 degree pipe bend in which the outlet pressure is specified, and the mass flow rate is known. I specified a pressure outlet with the gauge pressure I have been prescribed. I am using a mass-flow-inlet at the entrance of the bend where the values for pressure are desired. When I run the simulation, I get continuity through the system, but there is no pressure change between any two points in the system. I would initialize at the outlet, but I do not know the velocity profile at the outlet (it too is a desired result). Does anyone know how to approach this problem? If I initialize at the inlet, how can I ensure that my solution will yield the appropriate change in pressure? My contour plots illustrate the real flow behavior and the difference in pressure across the section, but the actual values are the same at every point. Thanks

Justin

(1). Move the inlet further away from the bend, and specify the uniform velocity there. (2). move the outlet further downstream, and specify the downstream condition there. (3). Run several cases and plot the mass flow vs the pressure drop chart. That's all you need to do.
