When I simulate a flow in fluent 5.4,there is error message sometimes.

Error:Floating point error:invalid number Error object)

Then the iteration is stopped. If I click inteate button, the iteration continues.

Would you like to tell me how this problem exists?

I have expericenced similiar case like you. In my opinion, your problem may be caused by numerically stiff situation. My suggestion is to check your grid system and skewness again. Also, check if your initialized value is proper and find a proper under relaxation factor.

I've solved that problem with these procedures metioned above.

May this answer helpful.
