I am facing problem when I create the periodic boundary type - can not export to Fluent.
Is it possible that my meshing is incorrect? I am doing 2D analysis. Thanks. |

Make sure the mesh on the periodic boundaries are linked!

Also make sure that you specify the periodic faces as a wall and not as periodic in Gambit. When you import it into Fluent change them back to periodic using grid/modify-zone/make-periodic.

Thanks a lot for the advice.
I have solved the problem. The error occurs because of the geometry - I import the geometry into the Gambit by the acis format. When I create/draw the geomtery in Gambit itself, there is no problem for me to create the periodic boundary type. |
