Hi I'm wondering about making an animation of a fluid flow in Fluent. Is this difficult to do? What steps are involved?

Thanks in advance FP

Only in case of WINDOWS based steps. (Because I use FLUENT by way of exceed.)

First, get the free ware(or commercial) program for screen capturing. In my case, I use the program called "Snaglt5".

Second, get the free ware(or commercial) program for making animated files.

Third, turn on your result graphics(in your FLUENT solver) and capture those scenes by the screen-capturing program.

Fourth, by use of the program for making animated file, just make your owns. Those captured files , respectively, would be a frame in your animated files.

GOOD LUCK!

P.S. At first, these steps may be difficult and time-consuming, But after you're fully experienced with those steps, I bet, you could make very sophisticated animated files.
