I want to perform transient thermal/CFD(Fluent) analysis having heat source on solid as heat pulse. The heat is ON for some time and then OFF. And this continues for long time. How do I put this kind of BC? How to use UDF for this kind of problems?

Thanks AJ

Take a cue from the FLUENT 5 UDF example on setting a transient boundary profile. Your heat pulse can be represented as an energy source term in W/m^3.
