I am a new Fluent user ; I need main guid lines, which program from the backage is used to genarate mish and which is used later.

GAMBIT is used for creating basic geometry & meshing. Then FLUENT is used.

I tryied to install gambit but an error message appears that which look like " can not find x server for EXCEED" I use win me , I thought EXCEED backage is required ,When I install it I recive other message saying "it works only under win NT"
How can I solve this problem? thanks |

I was told when I got Fluent that it did not run on 98 or ME, or at least fluent would not support it. I had ME and had to reinstall my operating system to 2000 professional.
I don't think there is anything you can do; you will have to have one of the supported operating systems. Cheers Andy |
