Default streamlines problem

Dear fluent users

I'm simulating a laminar flow liquid past a sphere, and I'm interested in the streamline function. The geometry is very simple, a circle ( 2D sphere) in the midle of a square; inlet velocity in the upper boundary, outflow in the downflow boundary condition.

I obtain always streamfunction values from 0 to certain value from left to right. As the geometry is symetrical, I think that is wrong.

I have also tried other boundary conditions (axis, symmetry) at left and right without success; I obtain the same values, even worse if I put a wall the stream function doesn't change.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Newbie
