Mass,Momentum,Energy source!

Hi !

I have same problems with a mass, momentum and energy source within the interior of the fluid.

I coulndnt get the velocity and the direction required in the fluid.

Can anybody help me.

Thank you in advance

What is the problem!!!!

Source not working, not giving expected result???

Re: Mass,Momentum,Energy source!

thank you! Yes .

I did not have what i hoped. I put x(kg/m3) and x (n/m3)( Y direction for example) and first at all i didnt get velocity in Y direction only, i had a component in X direction , also different mass rate was obtained. I used different numbers but i could not make it works.

Sincerely.

Thank you

You will need to do two things:

1. add a total mass source (kg/m3-s) to the cell 2. add momentum terms to the X and Y velocity (kg/m2-s2).

Try them independently to see how they work!

Thank for you answer.

I tried to set up the momentum and mass source in that way to simulate an puntual velocity inlet. So in this way i didnt do the mesh again , but i finally realise that is not a good idea. Do you know same way to do that ?

Best regards.

Sergio.
