The fluid for a porous zone is that we specify in the "species-model", since Iam doing a multi-component flow. But if I want to specify the concentration of different components in that fluid(porous) zone , how do I do that? Thanks to all.

Does this make sense???
Fluent wil solve for these concentrations - mass fractions within the domain!!! You can set b/c though! Greg |

Hi Greg,
Inside the porous zone, I want to specify the concentration of the(fluid)components initially before solving.Like,I select a mixture and then specify the initial concentration of the components of the mixture. Is this possible?Thanx---Shankar. |

Ok, that should be no problem - just do it as normal. Greg

Hi Greg, How do I go about specifying the initial mass fractions of different components inside the porous zone, or can you tell me which chapter of the user manual will be able to guide me through.Thanks.-Shankar
