supersonic/inital gauge pressure
what is meant by supersonic/inital gauge pressure?

i know the pressure, temperature and mach number of the two supersonic flows.what kind of inlet bounday condition should i give? it is a compressible flow problem.any user do reply me immediately.

Re: supersonic/inital gauge pressure

Since you know the mach number at the inlet and static pressure u can go for pressure inlet. In pressure inlet it will ask for two pressures, one is gauge total pressure (it can be calculated from mach no. and pressure isentropic relation), the other one is (supersonic/initial gauge pressure) there u need to give static pressure relative to operating pressure (i.e. static preesure minus operating pressure).
