lifting surface vs. CFD

As part of my masters Thesis, I have to compare my CFD model for the tail surfaces of an airplane with a lifting surface model(vortex lattice).

After that, I use a compresible-viscous model for some other information.

To save time I made one 3D mesh in Gambit with a boundry layer for y+=1. The viscous results are all right, but the potential flow model results are not.

My question is if it is all right to have a mesh (for Fluent)with so little elements for this invicid & incompresible model.

Thanks
