incompressible free surface flow past cylinder

i am a new fluent user.i want to model free surface flow past asemi submerged cylinder in water. i am specifying the free stream velocity at in flow and initial pressure and velocity throughout the mesh. i have done the initial meshing using gambit. can someone explain in what steps do i have to go further for free surface flow solution. thank you.

A) Use VOF, [segregated solver (no choice)] B) You have to patch the volume fractions. DC

Re: incompressible free surface flow past cylinder

what conditions should i take at the outer boundary during gambit, there is pressure inlet given as option. i will specify velocity and pressure both there. At the cylinder i am taking it to be as wall during gambit.
