Default unsteady state problem

Hi all,

I am a new user of fluent and I am having some problems when I run 2-D unsteady cases in fluent.

i)When i specify initial velocities as zero, once the solution starts they are not getting updated, they are remaining zero through out.

ii)Mine is a natural convection problem, whether specifying acceleration due to gravity as -9.8 would be sufficient or i have to take care of any other parameters.

iii)How do I specify the default interior conditons as some liquid at some initial temperature.

Any other suggestions for solving unsteady natural convection problems would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Prasad
