Hi frendz,
I got the following message while working on FLUENT... "Turbulent viscosity is limited to viscosity ratio of 1.0e+05 in 9357 cells" What is the meaning? what is the effect of this on the solution? what measures are to be taken to set the things right? Plz reply .. Sharad |

What version of Fluent are you using? If it's v5, probably you could check the system you're using for the viscosity input. There are parts of the physical system where there might be dead regions where there is no turbulence and parts where there is turbulence...even though the working fluid is, say, water or air.
If your system doesn't hang up on you or you have no problem with the profiles from the simulations I think the message you got is just a statement to explain how your system is behaving. Otherwise, you could probably check your boundary conditions and the solver inputs you specified. Good luck! |
