I am doing a multicomponent flow with no energy involved, but while activating the "Species-Transport" model, the energy equation gets activated. Why is this? Thanks to all.-Shankar.

Because desnsity is determined by the mass fraction of the species and gas-law. So, if your system is constant temperature, e.g. 300K, then ininitialiaze temperature as 300K and de-activate energy equation at the 'CONTROL-->SOLUTION' panel.

Sincerely, Jinwook
