Default Problem of mass inbalance

Hello all,

I am simulating sand flowing out of a hopper. When all sands flowed out of the hopper, the totally accumulated mass of sand is much smaller than the total mass of sands initially loaded into the hopper. I am using FLUENT 6.0 Eulerian multiphase model. Is there anyone who can tell me the reason?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

-Derek
