DPM Reversed Flow

Hi every one,

I'm modeling a water jet heat&momentum transfert :DPM. In first step, I'm tying to model the continous phase (like what's done in tutorial 14: Modeling Evaporating Liquid Spray). I take a cubic volume; as BC: 1-a velocity inlet face for gas velocity 2-a pressure-outlet face for atmospheric pressure (the opposite face) 3- the 4 remaining faces (lateral faces) are set as outflow. In this first step of modeling the gasous phase, the model is converged but always with the message " reversed flow in 601 faces on pressure-outlet ". If you have any idea to solve this problem, please tell me.

Thank you in advance.

Re: DPM Reversed Flow

Reversed flow may not be a problem. Based on your model domain shape and flow characteristics, you may have in-flow through the model outlet. Think if it is possible in your real applacation.

H'mmm. Let me see.......

Your set of boundary condition is mathematically well-posed ?

I am slightly confusing, but I think that 'pressure-outlet' and 'outflow' should not be used at the same time.
