Multiphase models-grid size?

Hi everybody!
My problem: How is FLUENT calculating the following? Using multiphase model (Eulerian) and having droplets of the dispersed phase of a diameter, which is bigger than the grid size! Or you have got a diameter wich is smaller than the grid size, but the resulting volume fraction in a cell is higher than the volume fraction, you specified for your inlet conditions! (These things especially occur, if you refined the grid at the wall!) Does anybody know, how to handle that? Does the grid size has to be much bigger than the diameter? Thank you very much in advance!!! Yvonne |
