Problem in solving Conjugate heat transfer

Dear users, I have a geomety which consists of fluid & solid continuems I want to create a boundary so that later in fluent I have to specify couple option to solve conjugate condition. I am taking wall as bounday but after importing, couple option is not visible at defining boundary conditions. Thanks in advance Ramana IIT Madras India

Re: Problem in solving Conjugate heat transfer

You need to split the volumes to share the common face. Once the face is shared by both the volumes, you can name this particular wall as eg. wall001, the coupled walls will have respective shadow wall as wall001_shadow. You can see which of these is towards solid and fluid in fluid. I don't know why you want to specify the coupled option in fluent when it happens automatically.

Hope this answers your question.
