Boundary flow

Is it possible to have flow going in followed by flow going out across the same boundary?? Im using Gambit 2.0 and Fluent 5.5 Thanks

Re: Boundary flow

Yes, just use a pressure inlet and a pressure outlet. Thes can handle negative velocities that make an inlet be an outlet and vice versa.

I suppose you have a transient simulation.

Make sure these boundary conditions match the physics of your fow. If you're not sure, take in your simulation domain a region around the inlet and outlet as well.

good luck,

Laika, still orbiting
