how to increase face mesh no.?
 

On a particular face which am face-meshing, am not able to increase the mesh no. whatever scheme or intervals I try, what could be the reason?This is the first face being meshed.Thanks.

I faced similar situation.

Did you mesh the edge before meshing the face? Could you try mesh size scheme of the face? .1, .2 or whatever you want.

It should work fine.

When you are using tri mesh in 2d model, the maximum face number is 100,000.

This is the default value of GAMBIT.

If you want to make a mesh more than 100,000, you have to change the default value.
