Hi all

I am trying to simulate a periodic flow through a pipe. Materials used are air and brass. The properties of material considered are at 50 c. I gave all the necessary parameters before initializing the flow. I got the following error message when I try to iterate.

Error: divergence detected in AMG solver: pressure correction

Error Object: ()

can any body explain me what should i do to solve my problem. Thanks in advance

Don't worry - this isn't too uncommon. Restart (by re-initialising) with the multigrid turned off (number of levels = 0). Once your solution is nice and stable (residuals falling smoothly) you can try reactivating multigrid. I would recommended saving before turning multigrid back on incase it becomes unstable again and you have to do a few more iterations with no multigrid.

Best wishes Althea
