about post-processing of fluent

Hi:

Now I am computating a minisize centrifugal blood pump with fluent 6.0.I can get contours of pressure,velocity and others.I want to know the shear sress in the pump ,but i cannot find it .Who can tell me how to get the shear sress in fluent?

regards!

If you look under the wall fluxes option you can select either shear stress or skin friction coefficient.

Rob:

I still can't find it .In my fluent 6.0,I only find mass flow rate,total heat transfer rate and radial heat transfer rate through report- fluxes.Maybe i didn't catch what you said. Can you give me more details? Thank you!

Hi Rob,

Please find it through

display -->wall fluxes -->wall shear stress

hope this helps u

Hi sri

In my fluent6.0,I still cannot find the path as you said.In 'display' i only find grid,contours ,vectors,path lines ,particle tracks and others.What's wrong? Thanks for you help!

hi lingo,

i am sorry for not being specific.

the path is

display -->contours -->wall fluxes -->wall shear stress

hope this helps you.
