Default Urgent help with Fluent and Tgrid

Hi,

I have a problem in combining two existing meshes. My aim is to analyse the flow through a centrigugal compressor. The compressor is consisted by an impeller and a diffuser. I've already created the two meshes, for the impeller and diffuser, but I want somehow to translate the diffuser in order the outlet of the impeller to be next to the inlet of the diffuser. So my actual problem is that I don't know how to translate the two grids in Tgrid. I've read the manuals of Tgrid but I cannot find a solution to my problem. I would appreciate if anyone could give me some help or give a new idea on how to do it because I'm in urgent need. Thanks.

Hi Dimitirs,

You don't need TGrid for translating mesh. Just use command line utility tool (type "utility tmerge") for merging two or more files. With this tool you can translate and rotate your mesh. This procedure is with Fluent6.0. In fluent5 procedure is some differnt but idea is the same (utility tools). Hope this will help.

Best Regrds,
