Default Alternative to Gambit

what meshing-tools do you recommend as an alternative to gambit. It should have the meshing-features from gambit but does not need to be a cad-system.

-(working) boundary layers

-tets, wedges, hex, pyramids (linear), hybrid meshes

-good support (germany)

Cad-import should be possible with parasolid (and certainly from iges and step).

OS: Linux

I guess ICEM (ICEM CFD Engineering) could do the job. They have an office in Germany as far as I know...
