Multiphase plus discrete particle flow

HI Wondering if anyone has tried to simulate a multiphase flow (say Air and CO2) with particles as discrete phase(say spherical carbon particles). At the moment fluent won't let me do both at same time.

any suggestions.

Thanks in Advance

Re: Multiphase plus discrete particle flow

Flow including Air and CO2 is not belong to multiphase flow. This is single phase(gas phase) flow with species transport. You can easily set the problem by selecting 'species transport' and 'DPM'.

HI Thanks for that so this means i can set carbon paricles as DPM and then the gas of CO2 as a species transport, Thanks

Yes, you've got it.
