Default FLUENT heat transfer

Hello,

I'm a new FLUENT user, and am still quite familiar with how things work with FLUENT.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience in modeling hot-film anemometers in a probe using FLUENT. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. How do I introduce these heating elements into the model?

Please help/advise if you can.

Cheers

Chris

Relatively straight-forward. You just model the probe as a solid (a wall) and apply the heat generation as a boundary condition for the wall.

Thanks Evan. Does it matter which solver I'm using to do this?
