k-e boundary ?

Hi every body. I am working on k-e turbulent flow field, but for my test case flow "flow in a canal" I couldnot find a suitableboundary condition for k-e inputs. because the k and e profile in a (x=cte) section does not agree well with the experimental data . can you help me?

Re: k-e boundary ?

hehe, I am not expert... try use other option in k-e model, hydrolic length and turbulent intensity is easier. typically I will use 5% for turbulent intensity, hydropic length -- depending on your geometry. There is also some information is fluent manual that tells you how to choose these values..:)

Re: k-e boundary ?

Thanks for you response, but I wanted to know if the boundary k-e parameters have major effect on the flow field or not?
