Hi CFD ppl, I have set a CFD model setup with a mesh 1. I forgot to save fluent journal file for this problem. How can I just copy all the setup for another mesh size (mesh 2)?

Please note that in mesh 1 and mesh 2, I have exacyly the same domain/zone name. Only the mesh is difference.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Most settings are copied over to a new case by using the text command /file/write-bc/ (which suitably enough writes settings to a formatted text file - you supply the file name) and /file/read-bc (that reads it in again). This should work if you have identical zone-names, but I am not sure if all models (e.g. multiphase settings and so on) are transfered. Check before starting to solve.

Thanks Anders, But I am getting an error: -- Error: interpolate_profile_field: thread 7: profile "" does not exist. Error Object: #f ---- Any idea whats that one is?? Where can I get the error list and the way to get rid of it?

Any help from any one would be appreciated.
