Does anybody have some idea of how to check the mesh quality for Gambit. Thanks in advance.

In the very lower-right corner of the Gambit GUI, there is a button named EXAMINE MESS. You may refer to the help files of the Gambit for your special case.

sxf,you can get the geometry information about the mesh using the Quality check tool.And you can fine or coarse it with those information.

Mesh skewness depends on a variety of factors: mesh type, complicated geometries, etc. Typically, you would like to keep both Equiangle and Equisize skewness below 0.75, which can be hard at times. Under no conditions should you have more than 1 or 2 cells in the 0.9 region.

Usually, using the TET/Hybrid (TGRID) meshing scheme leads to high skewness (0.6-0.9) no matter what you do. Using clever decompositioning (breaking volume into more volumes for meshing purposes) to use the Cooper tool is a great way to get higher quality meshes and save on cell size.
