Fluent and Gambit have many parts respectively, but maybe only some particular parts are to be used for your specific subjects.so, it maybe only take a couple of weeks for you to learn how to establish grids and setup the specific problem in fluent, but it maybe consume several years for you to be proficient of it. if you are a native english user,it will save you much time and trouble, for the Fluent documentation is written in english

I have recently started to use fluent and gambit for wind flow problems. I found that it is easy enough to pick up the basics and that proficiency and speed improve with practice. However, I'm also accutely aware that I'm only scratching the tip of the iceberg (look at some of the other threads on this forum) and that CFD could easily become a life's work. Try the following online tutorial for learning some of the basics: http://mechweb.mecheng.strath.ac.uk/.../frameset1.htm
