model the finned-tube?

how to specify the boundary of a finned tube? the tube can be specified as constand temperature, but how about the finned part?if the finned part is also specified as wall boundary, how to set the value on this wall boundary?in my opinion, all the thermal parameters (temperature, heat flux,..)on the fin wall are the just what i want to get through calculation, is it puzzling? any advices are appreciated!

The answer is obvious. If you want to calculate the fin performance by CFD, model the geometry exactly as it is. Challenging mesh...
