Laminar or tubulent Boundary layer?

Can Fluent predict the laminar-turbulent transition over a surface? I am using the spallart Allmaras turbulence model for an airfoil and the drag is too high. I suppose its because of the turbulent boundary layer. I want a laminar BL but I`m not sure how to get it. The turbulence intensity is set for 1% and the hydraulic diameter is around 10mm.

Re: Laminar or tubulent Boundary layer?

As far as I know, Spallart Allmaras turbulence model can not predict laminar-turbulent transition. They say that K-omega with transitional flow option can do(I did not have experience wirh that model).
