Hello, me and my famous workmate have an interesting error message when opening a continuum BC (solid zone):

Error: GENERAL-CAR-CDR: invalid argument [1]: improper list Error Object: #f

?????

I would like to know as well. I get the same error message but only when I activate the energy equation and try to open the solid zone BC.

It means that a field in your window has not been set (it has the value #f = empty). I saw it, e.g. in a porous zone where the solid material was not set after I read a case file from one old version of Fluent into a new one. In stead of Aluminum or so the field is empty.

So, check all your fields very carefully to see if they make sense.

I'm trying to specify a fixed temperature in a solid and it won't let me. I don't know what fields I should be looking at to determine why the message is occuring.
