Hi!!!

I want to read particle injections from a file by defining the points from where they are to be injected. Could anyone tell me the following points:

(1) What language shud I write my code in? (2) How will FLUENT know that the data points which I created are the values it is looking for? In other words is there any format in which I have to write my data in the file so that FLUENT understand as soon as it reads the data. Besdies the coordinate points I also have to specify the diameter and mass flow rate of the particles to be injected.

Thanks

Pravir

Hi Pavir

All you have to do is to use the File-option for setting Particle injections. The syntax for this is given in section 19.9.2 of the userguide.
