Using Fluent 6 and trying to compile a UDF I took the following message:
" d:\fluent.inc\fluent6.0\ntx86\2d\fl6012s.lib : fatal error LNK1106: invalid file or disk full: cannot seek to 0x3be74371 NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'link' : return code '0xc' Does anyone of you have experienced similar problem. Thanks in advance for any answer |

(1) You cannot compile a UDF when the FLUENT GUI is open. If at all you make some changes to your UDF, the recompilation can be done ONLY by closing FLUENT and reopening it and then compiling it. This could be one reason why you are not able to 'nmake' the UDF.
(2) You may have not set your environment variables correctly. For this you need to run VCVARS32.bat file installed somewhere in the C++ folder of the system. You need to run it in the command prompt where you get this error. Usually this error is not encountered with this problem. The error usually associated with the VCVARS32.bat is 'nmake' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.. but still it is worth a try. Murali |
