Porous Jump!!!

Hi All,

In my model, I dont want FLUENT to recognize certain faces, meaning, I dont want to model flow in that region. I was told that I could use "Porous Jump" as a boundary condition. Can anyone of you tell me what Porous Jump is??? Can I use it??? I would appreciate if anyone could clarify that for me.

Porous Jump is momentum resistance surface. That is, pressure drop occurs across that surface. So, if you set the resistance factor very high, then fluid can not flow across the face.
