Hi evrybody,

Can I get an advice or reference with force moments for rotor/stator in turbine labirynth seals?

The main problem is lack experimental data or empirical formulas.

BR, Stanislav

I remember being able to get imformation like these for bearings from catalogues so you'd do best to contact your hardware suppliers/manufacturer.

Thank you, but I'm hardware(steam turbine) designer.

This task (shaft moment in seals) is absent in available papers and prescribed industrial algorithms (I mean Ukrainian and post-USSR). May be this problem was solved Western or Asian engineers?
