Guys,

As you may know, solving some problems using LES method might take more time or you may cannot solve your problems easily because of divergence. Then I was thinking to solve problems using "inviscid" or "laminar" equations for the first timesteps and then then change it to LES or other turbulence models. I know that some people use simpler turbulence models such as Spalart-Allmaras to do such a method but I was thinking if we can do it by "inviscid" or "laminar" equations. Is it possible?

My problem is "transient" and I'm solving a detonation(a kind of combustion) problem.
