tet / structured grids

Hi,

I'm having a problem with convergence on a simple incompressible coldflow when a tet mesh flows into a structured mesh in series.

I'm only doing this for practice, so can anyone offer any advice on the rules/procedure when dealing with tet/map/wedge grids that are in series.

So that convergence can be acheived.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi

If you use unstructured mesh you must to provide a high spacial resolution, otherwise you calculation will have high numerical diffusion.

I sugguest to use structured mesh to avoid innecesary use of computer resources.

By the way, structured mesh works better with RSM model

Best regards

Alex
