If I want to divide some domain into several parts how can I connect them so I can analyse pressure losses over all parts( I would run calculations for each part separately). Should I set outlet velocity of one part as inlet velocity of the other or is there some better solutions? /Thanks

Hi

I cannot understand why you want to split your domain in several section just to analyse pressure losses.

First at all, You can create several surface in Fluent just to record the variable that you wish. In this way you run just one simmulation instead of innumerous simmulation.

Careful, I have hear that Pressure losses are not well calculated on Fluent! However, better ask to other Fluent users just to get sure about this comment.

Yes I agree with you but in that case my calculation will become too large. This was the reason why I will to divide domain into peaces.

No! It's just that I have too many cells to do calculation of my case as one peace. Regards F.Selimovic
