Hello. I have a brief question concerning Fluent 6.0.

I need to determine the power consumption from an impeller in a mixing tank simulation. I know that I must use the "Report/Forces" toolbar, and that I must select "Moments" as the option. My question is what values must be entered for "Moment Center" (default is x=1,y=0,z=0). Also, when the report is generated, which of the three values under "total moment" (in n-m) should I use, the x, y or z? The help menu does not explain what these options are and what they do.

The center-line axis of my tank is the z-axis, and the impeller rotates clockwise along this axis. I have set up a quarter-tank model and I'm using a multiple reference frame (MRF) model. Thank you for your time!

Regards,

EM
