I am using fluent 6.1.18 in LINUX. When I try to adapt grid (boundary/gradient/y+.. etc), fluent shows a error message. Error: fluent.6.1.18 received a fatal signal (SEGMENTATION VIOLATION).
I also check the same case file in UNIX system, but it doesn't show any error. If anybody knows the remedies, Please help me. Thanks. ARIF |

I also have the same prob sometimes. it probably comes because of memory. (to be frank it is very random on such messages, it works on one but fails on other, so u have multiple machines thats good.)

Thanks zxaar for your reply. In case of UNIX machine, it shows "Out of memory" message. But in LINUX, I only found "segmentation violation error". Anyway thanks.
