Re: Fluent & Gambit Help
Hi!
I think the best way to start is to do go trough tutorials... You can find documentation on: http://vayu.engr.twsu.edu/fluent/ http://www.udel.edu/topics/software/...docs/index.htm Regards MATEUS |
Re: Fluent & Gambit Help
i think the best way to start and learn is
TO USE GAMBIT AND FLUENT DIRECTLY, EVERYTHING IS IN LOGICAL ORDER, (GEOMETRY : POINT,VERTEX, SURFACES,VOLUMES MESHING : EDGES,FACES,VOLUMES AND BC) yaa u can look into tuts, for simple conusltancy. gambit takes 2 days ..fluent 1 enough. |
Re: Fluent & Gambit Help
Hi!
I just want to say that don't think that you will know a lot about CFD after 3 days of using Fluent. Yes, you will be able to get a solution, but you won't have any idea if the solution is right, you won't know how did you get the solution, you won't know anything. Learning cfd is a loooooooooooong process, which requires a lot of theory and expirience.... Regards MATEUS |
Re: Fluent & Gambit Help
And after 2 days you will be CFD expert!!!!

Re: Fluent & Gambit Help
well i told u how to start ..i din't mention that stop after that .... why i said so is, i have seen lot of people starting to learn this subject with tuts or manuals ..they just keep reading it (1000s of pages for months) ..i feel softies like gambit ..the more u spend time with them more u learn ...
this a practical thing ..as at my place ..we were two guys asked to learn gambit and fluent to learn ...he is still learning ..i have done few projects ..thats the diff. |
