Default Packed bed with layers of different packings

hi I want to define the porosity for a packed bed which consists of three layers, each of different material i.e. different porosity

so, the resistences also varies for each layer

what shall I do?

is it possible to use UDF, [ i read manual for it, but could not find anything useful,as i had not used UDF so far ]

please give some suggestins/help .
