Default 3d Boundary Layer

hello fluent users, actually i want to do a cfd for a car and i want to attach a boundary layer as the card is surrounded by the fluid domain and in gambit i was unable to attach the boundary layer pependicular to the faces in 3d some one please help me in this matter

What do you mean unable? Click shift+middle mouse botton, you can change the direction of boundary layer. If you are using tet mesh, enable internal continuity option.
