Unsteady flow to capture acoustics (press. fluct)

I am trying to compute the flow around an airfoil using an unsteady segregated 2d order implicit Fluent calculation. I am interested in obtaining the pressure fluctuations on the surface of the airfoil.

Even if I am using as initial condition a fully converged steady solution it takes quite long time(small time step and hence need of many time steps to solve the domain). I am not sure that I am obtaining an unsteady field and even if it is possible for Fluent to resolve this small pressure fluctuating field. Or which things should I take into account for it to be able to solve it.

I am using a structure grid stretched near the surface and the k-epsilon realizable turbulence model.

I would appreciate any ideas/comments that can help me with the calculation. I plan next to check an inviscid calculation and see if it gets faster/better having simplified the equations.

Many thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Ana
